Bio
I am a fifth year Ph.D. student in Scripps Institution of Oceanography, UC San Diego co-advised by Prof. Nicholas Lutsko and Prof. Shang-Ping Xie, and I expect to graduate in the summer of 2025. I am interested in the dynamics of atmospheric circulation and ocean-atmosphere interaction.
Prior to coming to SIO, I received my B.Sc. with Honors in Atmospheric Sciences from School of Physics, Peking University in July, 2020. I was fortunate and honored to have opportunities to work with many distinguished professors during my undergraduate years. Prof. Yongyun Hu in PKU and Prof. Eli Tziperman at Harvard as well as other valued friends, not only taught me specific knowledge and skills but also let me enjoy the fun of scientific research.
